DIRECTOR STUDIJOB

During our annual team-day we worked hard on themes such as making appointments, cooperation, integrity, communication and giving feedback.
All under the professional guidance of Lifestyle Adventures.
This day always gives plenty of energy, empowerment and solidarity. What worked for us was the various interactive activities that ultimately lead to many insights for everyone.
The day brought solidarity, commitment, fun and the desire for growth.

HEAD OF LEGAL DEPARMENT VERUS

A professional, open, pleasant and valuable process. Space for everyone to speak out, which created inspiration, contact and reflection. Through our core values, we laid the foundation for the deepening in the continuation of the process.
The sequel consisted of a two-day event, theoretical and outdoor activities, all with trust and responsibility. With this intensive process we got to know each other better and we have become much stronger as a team.

LARGE CONSULTANCY BUREAU

We have experienced the training as positive. During the activities and as the afternoon progressed you saw us become more and more a team. And that is exactly what we had in mind. The roles and influence of the different people in the team became clear, to which we can respond much better now and therefore are more productive.

Sponsorship South African Children

Sponsorship South African Children

Lifestyle Adventures believes that everyone should have the opportunity for personal development and growth. Sport and exercise is a powerful tool for this. We did not have to think long when we were asked to sponsor sports material for underprivileged children in South Africa. How simple things for us, like a football,
makes a difference in their lives and the children feel like a professional footballer. The energy, the expression on their faces is unforgettable. We have been to South Africa ourselves and have seen how simple things for us can make a huge difference for them. Grateful work; Empowering People's Performance!

Nice article about getting lost

Nice article about getting lost

Great article about ‘getting lost’; handling insecurities and creating something from nothing. That is why outdoor is so amazing; getting lost for advanced people.

TEDx

TEDx

This is a great TEDx talk about leadership and what makes a ‘real’ leader. Leadership is a choice, is is not an authority. Anybody can be a great leader, its al A great leader makes sure that the people feel safe.
This way trust and cooperation is there from people’s own internal motivation and needed, just guiding.

De 5 frustraties van teamwork

De 5 frustraties van teamwork

In his book Patrick Lencioni talks about the 5 frustrations of teams based on a case study of an organization, in which the following items work restrictively in achieving the desired result: lack of trust, ignoring (unilateral) conflicts, the lack of involvement and the avoidance of responsibility and too little attention to results. This frustrates team members and executives. The book gives a clear view of every frustration, what is visible in behavior and how an intervention can look like. And it gives a useful questionnaire in part 2 to do a baseline measurement on a team.
The only comment that can be made is that Lencioni focuses too much on frustrations and limitations and therefore sometimes comes across negatively . As a result, there is focus on punishing, while teams sometimes simply do not know how to shape their team. Perhaps from thinking in opportunities and possibilities the title could be "the 5 success factors of teamwork." A recommendation to gain insight into a number of aspects of functional teamwork.
